Data we collect

None. Scrollbar Restore does not collect any personal information or usage data. It contains no analytics, no trackers, and makes no network requests of any kind.

Data stored on your device

To remember your choices, the extension saves the following in your browser's local storage, on your device only:

• The list of sites where you turned the scrollbar on or off
• Your scrollbar preferences — width, thumb and track colors, and the auto-hide setting

This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to the developer or to any third party, and it is not synced to any account. You can clear it at any time from the extension's options page or by removing the extension.

Permissions

The extension requests only what it needs to work:

• storage — to save your settings locally, as described above.
• activeTab — to read the current tab's address so the popup can show the on/off setting for that specific site.
• Access to websites — the extension runs on the pages you visit only to detect a hidden scrollbar and draw the replacement. It reads layout and scroll information locally and sends nothing anywhere.

Third parties

Scrollbar Restore does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties, because it does not collect any data in the first place.

Children's privacy

The extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
